CTC Employment Services: About Us

Who We Are

South Burnett CTC Inc. was established in 1983. We began life as a grass-roots community response to addressing the high levels of youth unemployment that existed in the South Burnett at that time. Over the years we've expanded our operations considerably and continue to serve and to do our bit to make things better for people who are unemployed.

Today we're a large, community owned not-for-profit organisation that continues to address the needs of disadvantaged people throughout the South Burnett and into our neighbouring communities across a wide range of areas. We do this in an incredibly complex, demanding, unrelenting, ever-changing and sometimes difficult environment. Like all organisations we are only as good as our staff and we are constantly amazed and inspired by our team and their ability to thrive in such an environment and their willingness to go a country mile beyond their contractual obligations and to deliver real benefits and outcomes for the people and communities we serve.

We also assist our region's social and economic development activities and continue to help the many people and organisations who approach us for assistance. We're a genuinely Australian organisation which operates purely for the public good.
