RECRUITMENT - Full Time Assistant Educator

South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) operates Childcare Services from Community Kids and the Nanango Childcare Centre which together provide long day care, pre prep and before, after school and vacation care programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. 

We are seeking a full time Assistant Educator to work across both Centres.  Applications should include a resume, referees and covering letter addressing the following requirements:-

  • Cert III in Children’s Services
  • Experience in delivering programs under the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Working with Children Blue Card

RECRUITMENT - Casual Supported Employee

29th January 2016

CTC is seeking Casual Supported Employees to work in the wood workshop at Gumnut Place. The Gumnut Place is an Australian Disability Enterprise which incorporates:  a wood workshop; commercial kitchen; commercial laundry; trophy, engraving and badge making, and a secure document destruction service.  The team includes 20 supported employees who are supervised and mentored by support staff to work safely and productively at their assessed capacity.

Casual Supported Employees in the wood workshop work alongside a Support Worker and Supervisor to manufacture a range of products including timber pallets and blasting and survey pegs.

Requirements

  • Forklift ticket preferred
  • Nail gun experience preferred
  • Driver’s licence preferred
  • White card or ability to acquire
  • People living with a disability are encouraged to apply

  • Diploma in Children’s Services or evidence of enrolment (Lead Educators)
  • Minimum Cert III in Children’s Services (Assistant Educators)
  • Experience in delivering programs under the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Working with Children Blue Card

RECRUITMENT - Casual Support Workers

CTC Disability Services – CROSB (Community Respite Options South Burnett) provides services to meet the respite and family support needs of people with a disability.

CTC Residential Services provides 24/7 residential care and support for children/young people with complex support needs.

CTC is holding a one hour group information session for people who are interested in applying for casual Support Worker positions in either of these services on Friday, 22 January commencing at 9am sharp at the South Burnett Enterprise Centre, 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy.
