Making a Difference this Christmas

14th December 2012

Every year the Salvation Army's Adopt-A-Family for Christmas Appeal brightens the lives of local families facing adversity at Christmas time. This year, CTC Employment Services Gympie and Partners in Foster Care kindly supported a family that was at risk of not being sponsored due to the large number of family members. The family included 2 adults and 8 children (4 girls and 4 boys), ranging from 3 to 16 years old.

Partners in Foster Care provided a blanket for each child and numerous knitted toys which were handmade and kindly donated by the South Burnett Knitters’ Club.

Gympie Employment Services purchased a number of gifts and festive foods for the family to enjoy over the Christmas season.
