8th September 2010

CTC Chief Executive Nina Temperton has extended her heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the Board and all staff to Katina Leedie who has been selected as one of twelve participants from Australia to attend the Oxfam International Youth Partnership Conference in India later this year.

Mrs. Temperton said ‘Katina works as the Office Manager of the CTC Connections and Safe Haven site in Murgon and this is an honour not just for our organisation but the whole region. To assist Katina in her fund raising efforts and to ensure she can participate fully in this exciting opportunity the CTC Board has approved a sizable donation and are further encouraging of staff and community members to also contribute.’

The Oxfam International Youth Partnerships (OIYP) is an initiative of Oxfam International and originally started as the International Youth Parliament.
