Develop and promote a range of Adopt a School initiatives to build links between students, schools, businesses, employer groups and communities such as:

• Tours, visits and excursions
• Speakers and demonstrations
• Mentoring students, role modelling and interview training
• Career displays and mobile exhibits
• Part time work opportunities, work experience, SWL (Structured Workplace Learning) and school based new apprenticeships
• Student research and enterprise and mini-enterprise projects
• Forums and seminars
• Career education and advice
• Teacher and student materials and resources, structured learning activities, competitions, games and work simulation exercises
